Welcome to GoZenYourself, a unique program designed to help you explore the depths of your emotional body through the transformative three step practice of breathing, meditation, and silence. Our approach is informed by ancient yogic and Taoist methods, emphasizing Pranayama, Qi Gong, and transcendental meditation practices, all of which have been shown to promote emotional regulation and enhance overall well-being.

In today's fast-paced world, many individuals find it challenging to sit still, often leading to pent-up emotions and stress. Our program focuses on facilitating catharsis and emotional release, allowing for a deeper connection with our true selves. By engaging in these practices, participants can experience physiological and psychological benefits, including reduced anxiety, improved emotional resilience, and enhanced mental clarity.
Meet Rishi
Allow me to share a bit about myself. As an East African Indo-Canadian who spent my formative years in Uganda, I was surrounded by a rich tapestry of cultures and philosophies that shaped my view on life and spirituality. My journey into this realm began with a book called The Search in Secret India by Paul Brunton, followed closely by Autobiography of a Yogi. These profound works sparked my curiosity and passion for spiritual exploration.
My path was further illuminated by the teachings of my Master Osho, introduced to me by my father, a devoted follower. Initially, Osho's insights felt elusive, but through heartfelt conversations with my father, I began to appreciate their depth. Despite facing material challenges, the strong emotional bonds within my family instilled in me a lasting sense of gratitude.
Growing up, I navigated the complexities of adolescence while dealing with ADHD and dyslexia. These challenges fueled my curiosity about the world and led me to explore both social experiences and spiritual journeys. A pivotal moment came when my mother sent me to India during my summer holidays. Immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of the textile market in Gujarat, I learned to find beauty in life’s smallest details, which deepened my understanding of human connection and entrepreneurship.
A significant turning point in my journey occurred when we visited my grandmother, who was suffering from Parkinson's disease. This farewell made me confront the impermanence of life and strengthened my resolve to seek a deeper understanding of spirituality.
Throughout my quest for knowledge, I have engaged in various spiritual practices—from Pranayama and Qi Gong to ZaZen meditation with a monk, Vipassana retreats, and teachings from esteemed masters. Each experience has enriched my understanding and helped cultivate a sense of liberation and joy.
